As a resident of Baden, and long time resident of Wilmot Township, I am proud and dedicated to raise my four young children in such a great community. As an active member of the Wilmot community for many years, I grew up on my family farm outside of New Hamburg, attended Waterloo-Oxford DSS and went on to study political science at Wilfrid Laurier University. I've volunteered countless hours in the community including as a soccer coach for 9 years and a member of the New Dundee Optimist Club for almost 20 years. Having already served two terms on Wilmot Council, served Wilmot as its public school board trustee and Vice Chair of the Board, and served on numerous boards and agencies I understand and appreciate the challenges and opportunities we have in Baden. I believe in listening first, and working with you to find the best possible solution to issues.
As a long-time contributor and employee in the local technology sector I have benefited from this amazing Region and always look for ways to give back. I currently work in health care as the Executive Lead of Innovation at the Waterloo Wellington Local Health Integration Network where I help local tech companies and health care providers improve our health system for patients. Through this work I bring together like minded people to find true solutions to our health care issues. You can learn more about my work at www.technicallysocial.ca. I believe strongly in the power of community, and have always worked to continue to make Wilmot a better place for my children, and I look to do the same for you.
